To participate in the conference the following should be provided:
- application for participation (in hard copy with the signatures of the authors, including the leader)
- abstracts of the report (in hard copy with the signatures of the authors, including the leader, and in electronic version (Microsoft Word)).
Working languages ??of the conference: Ukrainian, Russian, and English.
The text of the abstract reports should contain the statement of the issue and its relevance, highlighting previously unresolved issues within the scope, a brief description of methods used to address the same, indicating sources and modifications made by the authors, the main results and conclusions.
The volume of abstracts – one full page.
Non-compliant materials will not be considered.
Submitted abstracts will undergo pre-peer review and the final conference program will be drafted. Conference materials will be presented on the website of the Faculty of Heat-and-Power Engineering, KPI n.a. Ihor Sikorskyi.
Rules for presentation of abstracts
The text is executed on A4 sheet. No transfers allowed. Font - Times New Roman, 12pt. Single space.
UDC index in the upper left corner of the print field (semi-bold). Below, after 1 space – status (Student, Master, Postgraduate, Young Scientist), course, group, full name of authors. For the head – degree, academic title, full name of the head. Below, after 1 space, with centre alignment, capital letters (semi-bold) – title of the report. Below, after 1 space –text of the report (first line indentation is 12.5, full justification).
The drawings should be executed in any format imported into Word. Their dimensions should not exceed the size of the text field. All drawing elements should be grouped. The size of the captions and markings on the drawings should be such that after reducing the page with the abstracts to the size of A5 sheet, it would be possible to read the captions clearly.
Formulas should be typed using the built-in Equation Editor [Menu item Insert à section Text à item Object à line Object… à Insert Object dialog box à item Microsoft Equation 3.0].]. Dimensions: normal - 12 pt, large index - 9 pt, small index - 7 pt, large symbol - 13 pt, small symbol - 10 pt. To the right of the formula (on the right edge) in parentheses its ordinal number is indicated.
Following the abstract text after 1 space type used sources according to DSTU 8302:2015.
